Back on the road and heading east.  US 50 is known as the &#8220;Loneliness Road&#8221;&#8230;<br \/>\n<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ni0l.com\/pictures\/DCAM6598_sm.jpg\"><br \/>\n&#8230; seeing other cars on the road are few and far between.<br \/>\n<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ni0l.com\/pictures\/DCAM6608_sm.jpg\"><br \/>\nAfter a few more eastern Nevada summits, the terrain sloped down into a large valley with a small salt lake&#8230;<br \/>\n<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ni0l.com\/pictures\/DCAM6604_sm.jpg\"><br \/>\nand then into agriculture and cattle land.  Eastern Utah presented some awesome scenery&#8230;<br \/>\n<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ni0l.com\/pictures\/DCAM6618_sm.jpg\"><br \/>\n&#8230; some really unbelievable vistas&#8230;<br \/>\n<br \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ni0l.com\/pictures\/DCAM6624_sm.jpg\"><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ni0l.com\/pictures\/nv_to_co.jpg\"><br \/>\nI crossed into Colorado at Grand Junction and continued on US 50 to Montrose.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ely, NV &#8211; Montrose, CO Daily Mileage: 492 Total Mileage: 5975 Total Number of States Traveled: 25 Another day of wonderful weather.
